Does the person I send it to need an account?
No. A bloxx.video link opens in any browser, plays your edit and shows the transcript. Nobody has to sign up or install anything to watch.
Which browsers can record?
Recording and exporting need a recent Chrome or Edge on a computer. Watching a link works in any modern browser, on a phone too.
What languages can viewers read it in?
English, Português, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Українська, العربية, हिन्दी, 中文, 日本語. The captions, the transcript and the title are translated, and figures are checked so a number never changes in translation.
Can I stop sharing a video?
Yes. Turn sharing off and the link stops working straight away. Turning it on again makes a new link, so an old one never comes back. Share pages are hidden from search engines.
Can I download the video?
Yes. Export an MP4 in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, with your captions burned in, in any of the 13 languages. It is rendered in your browser, so it never waits in a queue.
Can I upload a video I already have?
Yes. MP4, MOV and WebM files up to 4 GB are transcribed and edited the same way as a recording.
